There are many ways to contribute to our nonprofit Pennsylvania community. Your donations help provide financial assistance for residents in need. You can also volunteer your time, your talents and your words of encouragement. We welcome all of your gifts.
Financial giving opportunities
Chapel Pointe offers several types of financial giving opportunities, from benevolent care to special projects. Benevolent care assists residents who have outlived their resources. You can also contribute to special projects that enhance life for our residents, such as renovations.
Types of financial giving
- In memory or in honor of past or present residents, staff members and friends
- Gift Annuity Program—donors receive attractive annuity rates and tax advantages while providing for the future of Chapel Pointe
- Planned giving and/or estate planning to benefit the Chapel Pointe Endowment Fund
Jonathan Doty, our Director of Development and Outreach, can explain these different types of giving opportunities in more detail. As a longtime Chapel Pointe employee and the son of missionaries with The Christian and Missionary Alliance, Jonathan has a deep understanding of our purpose. He’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have. You can reach Jonathan at 717-249-1363.
As a nonprofit, all donations to Chapel Pointe are tax-deductible, receipted and used as directed.
Secure Donations are Accepted Here
Looking to volunteer in Carlisle or the greater Pennsylvania area? At Chapel Pointe, we welcome your participation in our senior volunteer programs. Even those who feel they have nothing to offer will see how much they can contribute to our community with just a hug or a smile. You can visit one-on-one with residents, put on a skit or lead a discussion group, serve a special treat, bring a pet for pet therapy and so much more.
Anyone can volunteer—groups and individuals, church groups, students or youth groups, and residents. Volunteer when it’s convenient for you—weekly, monthly, quarterly, or even on a one-time basis.
Getting started is easy. Contact Adele Foreman or Tammi Ziegler, Activities Directors, at 717-249-1363 or stop in to fill out a Volunteer Application.
