On August 16, more than 30 Chapel Pointe residents and staff gathered in the shade at Pointe Place for a private Grand Opening of the townhome community. All of the soon-to-be residents of Pointe Place sat as Debbie Sprague, CEO, addressed the crowd, “We want to give praise to God for making this a reality, for making it happen, for the blessing of Pointe Place. Chapel Pointe is an awesome community on Hanover Street, and this is just an addition to that community. The folks who live here will be a part of the Chapel Pointe family.”
To celebrate the opening of Pointe Place, Brad Weiser, COO, passed commemorative keys to Don and Roxey Group, two of the first Pointe Place residents. The marketing team handed out a loaf of sweet bread to all of the new residents, and Pastor Steve Motter concluded the brief ceremony:
“We pray that this would be just the beginning of many special times that will be celebrated on these grounds. We pray that Pointe Place would be a great blessing to each of the residents who come here.”
The ceremony was just part of the day’s events. All afternoon, people toured the townhomes and went on prayer walks around Pointe Place. They stopped at the different homes to praise God for his faithfulness, thank the Lord for his many blessings, pray for the new residents, and ask for abundance in the local community and wisdom for Carlisle’s leaders. The event epitomized Chapel Pointe’s desire to honor God in all that it does.
