We are humbled and overjoyed to share that Chapel Pointe has once again been recognized for excellence in senior living and community impact.
In the 2025 Best of Cumberland County awards by The Sentinel, Chapel Pointe was honored with multiple “Best” titles, including:
- Best Place to Work
- Best Nursing Home Facility
- Best 55+ Community
- Best Customer Service
- Best In-Home Care Provider
- Best Apartment/Townhome Community (Pointe Place)
And as if that wasn’t enough, we were also voted a Favorite Nonprofit—a recognition that celebrates the heart behind everything we do.
Adding to the excitement, Harrisburg Magazine announced that Chapel Pointe earned the Readers’ Choice Award for Best Senior Living in their Simply the Best contest. This recognition spans beyond Cumberland County, covering communities throughout Dauphin, Perry, York, Lancaster, and Cumberland Counties—making the honor even more meaningful.
CEO Kent Peachey affirmed staff after receiving these accolades:
“These recognitions are a direct reflection of the heart, talent, and dedication you bring to our mission every day. Whether you’re serving residents face-to-face or working behind the scenes, your efforts continue to make Chapel Pointe a place where people feel loved, supported, and truly at home.”
These achievements also reflect the connection, faith, and kindness of our residents, families, and friends who make this a vibrant community.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who voted, believes in our mission, and continues to trust us to provide care and purpose. These recognitions affirm what we strive to live out every day: creating a place where people truly feel at home.
In 1944, Chapel Pointe began its tradition of empowering seniors to flourish and live with purpose, whether they live - or work - at Chapel Pointe. As a nonprofit continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in the heart of Carlisle, our top priority is serving people.
Beyond the social and maintenance-free lifestyle perks of living at Chapel Pointe, residents gain security for their future through priority access to healthcare and the promise of a safe home. Within a secure, faith-based, and family-like environment, our two campuses offer in-home care (Chapel Pointe at Home), independent living apartments, independent living townhomes (Pointe Place), private personal care studios and suites, memory support, skilled care households with all-private rooms, and award-winning rehabilitation/physical therapy.
