The Country Market
Comes to Chapel Pointe
Every autumn, Chapel Pointe creates The Country Market so residents, staff, and friends can shop for their favorite fall treats. Dining services spends hours baking everything from breads and cakes to pies and cookies. While everyone’s taste differs, the softball-sized cream puffs are often the belle of the ball.
A variety of apples, gourds, squash, and other fall produce all come from the chief operating officer’s father’s farm. Unsold produce never goes to waste. Dining services incorporates extra apples into delicious desserts in the days following the market.
This year, The Country Market included a selection of fiery mums in orange, yellow, and maroon, as well as beautiful fall wreaths handcrafted by a resident.
The money raised from The Country Market goes toward the Benevolent Care Fund, which helps to provide care and services for residents who have outlived their assets. Thanks to everyone who came out to shop and enjoy an afternoon together!
